First of all, it's remarkable that someone has taken the initiative to reproduce this fine old radio receiver's dial - and a privilege for me, someone who's doing an IN-DEPTH (I seriously mean IN-DEPTH) restoration of this radio, to be able to buy a respectable replacement for the sadly faded original dial I had.
I give it 4 out of 5 stars - * 1 for how it perfectly fits the original framework onto which these dials are mounted - * 2 for the accurate detailing of the five bands, A through E, again an exact reproduction of the originals - * 3 for the vibrant reproduction of the three original colors used - Apple Green, Mustard Yellow and Fire-engine Red - and, * 4 for the fair price and fast delivery Radio Daze provided me.
The only reason I didn't give this item 5 stars is because the reproduction process did not ( most likely could not easily) replicate the matte finish of the original on the front of the reproduction dial. That would have been perfection.
All in all, I could not be more grateful to RadioDaze for making it possible for me to get a replacement dial for this radio, and I'm sure it'll look superb when the radio's up and running.. Kudos to RadioDaze!
